About Us
Talfurnco was established in April 1981 as a furnace manufacturer. Included in our original offering was the manufacture and supply of all furnace equipment and furnace accessories.
Currently we are one of the main assaying suppliers to the South African mining laboratories as well as a number of private laboratories. Today we are not only able to, but actually cater for the total need of assaying laboratories, metallurgical plants, platinum process plants and the heat-treatment industry.
Outside South Africa Talfurnco furnaces and drying ovens have been successfully set up in Ghana, Italy, Spain, Russia, Mali, Kenya, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Botswana and more.
Our staff compliment includes experienced engineers, designers and specialists in all the operational disciplines.
The company operates within all the legal requirements of the Republic of South Africa. This includes measures for the fulfillment of the broad based socio-economic empowerment charter (BBBEE) – LEVEL 2.
Our company has grown over the years to incorporate a wider range of products and solutions related to our core client’s requirements.
